We were beyond excited to design a made-to-order beverage for our very first client. Here we are tinkering with different infusions – testing out combinations of fruit and spice in the quest for a well-rounded, but festive taste.
Then, we took inspiration from the flavours of that quintessential festive favourite – the Christmas fruit mince pie. We changed the yeast to something fruity and forbidden, reminiscent of plump currants. We added the subtle warming qualities of cinnamon, cloves, allspice, and nutmeg. Then we threw in a hint of sweet vanilla, and some zesty lemon peel. What do you have?
A cheeky little Christmas spicy red ale – perfect for accompanying your mother-in-law’s fruit cake, or enjoying with the finest mince pie you can find. Homemade or baked by the professionals. You choose.

Ninety-nine bottles of beer on the wall table. All ready to go. And three hours later we are elated as we finish sterilising, sorting, filling, capping, washing, boxing
The final result is amazing. The amber red colour stunning. Just perfect for the silly season.
